Than comes the beach of Marina di Erchie with the tower and Capo d’Orso, a black rock with the bear shape. Maiori, popular place for families, because of the largest beaches in the Amalfi Coast. Just behind lies the charming little town of Minori. The main road goes to Atrani, a place where the nobilty of the Maritime Republic of Amalfi had their residence and where dogs were crowned and buried. Ravello is a “must”, with its magical atmosphere. The garden of Villa Rufolo inspired Richard Wagner while he was composing Parsifal. Amalfi with many bathing establishments such as Lido Azzurro, Marina Grande, Lido delle Sirene,… The oldest of the four Maritime Republics, Amalfi still has the same charm. Sorrento is a truly spectacular spot even for the coastline with its towering cliff in volcanic tuff. There are private beaches near the port and many good restaurants.
